Challenge Cup – 2019

To be held over Labour Weekend 2019 (26-28 October) at Water World Aquatic Centre, Garnett Ave, Hamilton

Entry is open to all NZ schools with Junior Secondary Water Polo teams. Teams should be predominately Y9/Y10, however schools with Y8’s may have Y8’s in the team.

Entry is open to Boys, Girls and Mixed teams, from an individual or combined schools. All entries are able to play in all games including any finals.

This event is ideal preparation for teams planning to attend the NZWP event North Island Junior Secondary (NIJSS).

Game times will be travel friendly for Auckland and Rotorua/Bay of Plenty schools so daily travel may be an option, however if your team are looking to stay in Hamilton, Water World is just a short walk from Ulster street with a large number of motels, plus their are some budget options in the area and right across the street is the Distinction Hotel (not cheap but very close, you might be able to negotiate a deal for a group booking). Feel free to contact us if you need a local to give some advice, or drop in to check out something for you.

Entries are limited, so please get your entry in ASAP to avoid disappointment. Entries close Friday 6 September.

Cost for the 2019 Tournament is set at $600Plus GST per team. This will be invoiced to the person nominated on your entry form once your entry is accepted (by Wednesday 11th September). Payment is required within 7 days to confirm the entry. Withdrawal after entry is confirmed will result in the forfeit of the entire entry fee * (see note 1).
