Due to funding approval, an exciting opportunity has become available for a dedicated Club Administrator to join our organisation supporting our passionate committee to manage the provision of our services to members and the community.

Waikato Waterpolo is a not-for-profit community organisation which has developed a family friendly and social culture supporting all levels and ages of waterpolo & flippaball players from beginners through to high performance athletes.

This is a hugely varied role coordinating our club operations, member services, facility bookings, administrative and financial activities of the club, including promoting the club within the community with a view to increasing profile and membership.

We are seeking someone with strong self-management skills and the ability to work independently and in a team.

Ideally, the Club Administrator will possess the following skills and attributes;

  • Strong experience in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word & Excel)
  • Previous financial administration experience (Xero)
  • Proven experience in a broad range of administrative duties
  • Strong customer service experience
  • A reliable and solid work ethic and can do attitude.
  • A passion for Waterpolo would be an advantage

This is a part-time position of 16 hours per week, 40 weeks per year during school term time – with occasional flexibility required in the actual days and hours worked in order to accommodate member support, club events and varying workflow.
