Team Manager Program
All teams attending events will have a manager appointed, either for the event/s or for the year
Anybody aged over 25 can be a team manager, however Waikato Waterpolo reserves the right to apply any/all checks as required by the variours Acts and policies, including (but not limited to, the Child Protection Act).
Team Manager Training
Waikato Waterpolo runs a half day course on what a Team Managers responsibilities are and provides many materials to assist with managing teams.
This includes our Team Managers Handbook which provides guidance in all areas plus it has templates and
A training course is provided early in the year for existing and potential new managers. If you are thinking about putting your hand up, please attend this course to learn about whats required. If you have any questions, have missed the course but would like to volunteer to be a Team Manager anyway or need help with Managing Teams, please contact our Team Managers Coordinator, or email the team at admin@waikatowaterpolo.co.nz
