COVID19 – Waikato Water Polo
Update 19 March 11:00am – All Water Polo competitions cancelled!!!
Waikato Water Polo is taking the COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2 or Coronavirus) issue very seriously and is supporting the Government’s Policy aimed at prevention and containment. To manage the spread of COVID19 all games are CANCELLED effective immediately, this includes Secondary School, Intermediate School and Flippaball Water Polo.
At this stage, we are closed until further notice. When Hamilton City Council reopens Water World and we are allowed to move around and have some form of contact outside of the home, we will get back to training so that fitness can be regained.
Please respect the “Stay Home, Save lives” Message. See you all on the other side of this.

Welcome to Waikato Water Polo Club
Waikato Water Polo Club currently runs competitions in Hamilton @ Waterworld.
The Club runs an Open High School Competition, a Club Competition and a Junior High School Competition across the year. The club has a strong affiliation with NZ Water Polo and enters teams in most of the national age group competitions – from U12-U20’s and NZ National League Men’s and Woman’s competitions.
We also have a strong Intermediate and Flippa Ball competition aimed at introducing new players to the game for ALL age groups.
We welcome new members to all of our events.
